The Process
Pulling from nature has always been Marie’s forte. She loves to push the boundaries of light and create something unique but familiar. Some paintings are more based in reality, while others push through normal landscapes into a world unknown. Marie pulls from what is seen and from what subject matter that interests her the most. From there, she decides which kind of paint will make the most impactful piece (I.E. Oil or Acrylic). Sometimes she uses a reference but other times she will pull from memory or imagination. Then, picks a picture or scene that matches the vision.
